Xbox Games with Gold – April 2017

Microsoft continues the trend in April of offering a good selection of games with the Games with Gold program.  Starting April 1st, Xbox One owners can download for free Ryse: Son of Rome.  If you missed out on this Xbox One launch title, you can get it for free.  Xbox 360 and Xbox One owners will also be able to download Darksiders at the beginning of April.  Don’t snooze on this title as you only have until April 15th to get it for free.

During the second half of April, Xbox 360 and Xbox One owners will be able to snag Assassin’s Creed Revelations and add it to their collection.  There is a short window to get this installment of the Assassin Creed games as it will only be available from April 16th through the 30th.  Also starting on April 16th and through May 15th, Xbox One owners will have the chance to dive into The Walking Dead: Season 2.

April looks to have a solid lineup of free games with Games with Gold.  Keep in mind that the Xbox 360 titles, Darksiders and Assassin’s Creed Revelations, are backwards compatible with the Xbox One.  In other words, if your Xbox 360 is collecting dust or you simply don’t have one, you can still download and play those free games on your Xbox One.

Here’s a peek at the four games available to you in April:

Game on!
